The Damn Chair

What’s something most people don’t understand?

Most people don’t realize why I sit so much, and they may wonder why I don’t do more to help out around the house. The truth is, as I have fought this battle I have been wounded and left with two movement disorders, chronic pain, depression because I sit so much and feel like a useless lump, and fatigue that only those on a large cocktail of Psychotropic drugs could understand. I hate this chair. I hate that I live in it. I hate how it makes me feel, and I hate that I have missed large portions of my children’s childhood because I’ve been sitting in it. I wish people would understand that.

  1. Yep, I get it. I have the same relationship with my chair. Keep fighting the good fight.
