I’ve been going through a really tough time lately. My blog has been put on hold due to a difficult divorce that I’m struggling to come to terms with. It’s been hard to find the motivation to write and inspire others when my own situation seems so bleak. However, I recently attended a church conference with my mother and received an unexpected compliment from a man there. Despite being homeless and moneyless, he told me that he could see the Holy Spirit in my eyes. That was the most amazing compliment I have ever received and it has given me the strength to keep pushing forward and find hope in even the darkest of times.
