Teeth

Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.

I was diagnosed bipolar 2 two years after my first child was born. Before diagnosis my life had been hell and I felt like a failure of a mother. But I got the help I needed and was put on the correct meds that would treat my condition. Fast-forward 18 years later, one of the meds had destroyed everyone of my teeth and I was in significant pain; however, I am alive, which would not have been the case if it weren’t for the meds. So you win some, You lose some. When I had to flee my home in the South because of a destructive marriage, my mom took me to the dentist. I’m 40 years old, and the dentist said “we need to take all of them out.” All of my teeth, what was left of them. I was in so much pain and never could’ve afforded the surgery or the dentures that came after if it wasn’t for my mom and dad. I intend attempt to pay them back, but I know that will always be an impossible task.
